As the Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee care delivery, supervise staff, and maintain high standards in line with CQC expectations. This hands-on leadership role offers real scope for professional development and impact with the potential to become Service Manager/Registered Manager in the future.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 5 or above in Health and Social Care
- Experience in a senior or supervisory role within domiciliary/home care (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- A proactive, inclusive, and person-focused management approach

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
- Lead, support, and mentor care staff to deliver safe, person-centred care
- Ensure ongoing compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and CQC regulations
- Support with rota management, care planning, recruitment, training, and performance reviews
- Maintain strong working relationships with service users, families, and external partners
- Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and service development
- Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Registered Manager
