JOIN MY CARE TEAM (days and waking nights available)
I’am a man in my 30’s with a neuromuscular condition, looking for new people to join my established care team in Plymouth.
What I am looking for:
Considerate, reliable people with good common sense.
Happy in a small team and confident lone-working for parts of the day or night.
Willing to learn – an aptitude and empathy matter more to me than prior experience.
Comfortable around medical equipment, once trained.
You will be required to support me in all aspects of my life including:
Training given in aspects of the job.
- Using my respiratory equipment. Bi-Pap and cough assist.
- Moving me safely using a ceiling track hoist.
- Helping with daily physio exercises
- Driving me out to do the things I want to do.
- Supporting me on holiday.
- Providing my daily care – washing, dressing and feeding me.
I enjoy a wide variety of music, I have an interest in the natural world and a keen interest in trains and films.

Working Patterns:
Days - 08.00 - 15.00
14.00 - 23.00
08.00 - 11.00
Shifts may vary slightly if I want to go out for the day. Advanced notice is always given.
Nights - 21.00 - 08.00
Essential details:
Pay starting at £14.50 to £16.40
Rota's written 3 weeks in advance
Paid training and DBS
Access to Employee Assistance Programme and Blue Light Card
Full UK Driving licence
