Countywide Team

The team has grown significantly due to a 5-year development plan and are a committed and enthusiastic group of professionals. It now comprises of two Team Managers, an Advanced Social Worker, Social Workers, Social Care Assessors, Occupational Therapists and Business/Management Information Support Officers.
The TASC team work to the Care Act principles where transition refers to the planned process of moving a young person to adult services to promote independent living skills. We work with young people from the ages of 14 to 18 and our aim is to facilitate a young person’s ability to live and enjoy their early adult life as independently as possible.
We are looking to recruit a full time Social Worker to join our team and are looking for someone with experience of working with individuals to promote independence. Someone who is skilled in partnership working and has strong legal literacy including Mental Capacity Act principles so that positive outcomes for young people are achieved. You will be required you to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
This is a countywide position, however, our area of need is north Devon with a potential for travel outside that area as well.
