Duties
Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition according to their dietary needs.
Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities as required. Mileage will be paid.
Monitor and document clients’ health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programmes to enhance their quality of life.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Assist with case management tasks, coordinating services and resources for clients as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Skills
Experience is highly desirable, but not essential, as full training is given.
Care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks.
A valid driver’s licence is preferred for transporting clients when needed.
