Yelverton
What we’re all about:
We’re at 25 bed operation, and we care about creating a proper family feel here – the kind of warmth and personal attention that often gets lost in larger carehomes. Our residents have lived full lives, and they deserve so much better than just being processed through daily routines.
Every single decision we make starts with asking “Is this what’s best for our residents?” Whether it’s Marge who loves her morning cup of tea just so, or John who needs that extra bit of patience with his mobility – it’s about seeing the person, not just the care plan.
You need to be:
Enthusiastic (even on Monday mornings!)
Positive and proactive
Great at talking to people – residents, families, the whole team
Ready to really collaborate with management on making things better
Look, we won’t pretend it’s always easy work, but if you’re the right person, it’s incredibly rewarding. These residents become like family, and there’s nothing quite like seeing someone smile because you’ve made their day a bit brighter.
