As a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant, you will work as part of a team to provide the best care for the people living in our homes and be a part of the next chapter in their story.
- You will assist the cook with the preparation and serving of food to deliver well balanced meals on time.
- You will make sure we have a well-maintained, clean and safe kitchen environment including washing all equipment.
- You will rotate stock in fridges, freezers, vegetable store and dry store cupboard in order to help us minimise waste.
- Every day is different and hard work is required, but each day, you will go home knowing you have made a difference to their lives.
- You don’t need experience as we provide online training, along with face to face support, supervision and a full induction.
- What you need most of all is a desire to help, to be kind and to enjoy making someone’s day that little bit easier.
