Registered Care Manager / Care Manager who aspires to a Registered Managers role

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager (RM) or a Manager who wishes to progress to a RM role in our family run residential care home.
Garson House Care Home has been in our family since 2006 and is situated in the picturesque town of Lynton on Exmoor where we offer a family environment with a home from home feeling for our residents. Our home is set in it’s own grounds which is complimented by lawn and rose gardens with patio areas for our residents to relax and watch the world go by.
The the successful applicant will be working alongside the owner and be expected to:

• Lead and supervise a small team of care staff, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to deliver exceptional care.
• Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of each resident.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, medication administration, and safeguarding policies.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the care home alongside the owner.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and satisfaction to continuously improve service delivery.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure coordinated care for residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
