This role will include using your initiative to create personal based daily activities and developing and delivering against individualised goal plans. We want to promote people’s engagement and offer variety throughout the week, the more you give the more you get!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to people with varying needs.
- Developing and delivering against individualised goal plans and monitoring progress, promoting independence.
- Developing and delivering personal care plans.
- Assist people with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with people attending the service, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment for people attending the service.

What we are looking for someone that:
- Has previous experience in a support worker or similar role (this is preferred but not essential as full training will be given).
- Has effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has the ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
- Has compassion, patience, and empathy.
- Can work flexibility to cover other units if the need arises.
- Has a passion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
