Sense now has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers in Ottery St Mary, Devon. Working 37.5 hours per week.

Sense Otterhayes is a cluster on supported living services (7 properties) and one residential care home (for 5 people). The services have access to a poly tunnel for people to grow their own fruit and vegetable. There is an art room and a small studio. This is really fantastic time to join Sense Otterhayes – as we move forward with an ambitious plan to bring about major changes.

Due to the location of our service it is essential that you hold a full UK drivers license, and have access to a vehicle, we have free staff parking on site.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

Positive, with a can-do attitude.
Caring and empathetic.
Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).

This role in Ottery St Mary might include supporting people with:

Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.
Medication and wellbeing.
Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
Their social life and nightlife.
