Night Care Worker

We are looking for a kind and reliable NIGHT CARE WORKER to join our dedicated team. Shifts are 8pm-8am.

You should have experience of caring for older people, including those living with dementia.

In this role you will need to:

• Help our residents with all aspects of their personal care
• Be organised and efficient at record keeping and writing notes
• Show empathy and patience, spending time with individual residents
• Be able to work at least 2 shifts per week, 8pm-8am. Flexibility is required and willingness to work  alternate weekends (enhanced rates of pay at weekends) and possible extra cover for staff holidays, sick leave.
• Attend training sessions
• Already have had medications training or be willing to undertake training and give medication
• Do overnight laundry and domestic tasks if necessary

Requirements:

• Preferred qualification: minimum level 2 in Health and Social Care. However,  if  you live locally and have relevant experience we would like to hear from you.
• DBS check and 2 references required
• Applicants should be living in Ilfracombe or nearby
