There are care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans in place to help you in your role. An ability to problem solve and think outside the box is always welcomed.
You will be paid Monthly into your bank.
Paid training is provided and support is available at all times.
Pay rates are dependant on which home you are based in and the degree of challenging behaviour you may encounter. The pay rates start at £10.36 weekdays and £11.43 at weekends – there is a £1 an hour supplement for those that work in our most challenging home and an additional overtime rate. Bank holidays are paid at a higher rate.
Experience in Working in a care home or supporting people with Autism, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health Difficulties is desirable, but not essential.
We will also need a successful DBS application which we can process and two references.
