As a man in my early 30’s I am seeking support with daily life, alongside managing my complex health needs. I am looking for reliable, capable people who are willing to learn new skills and support me in my daily life. I enjoy visits to the cinema and getting out and about, especially in the summer. A full driving licence is essential and a willingness to drive my wheelchair adapted vehicle.

My care team supports me at home with my family and away on holiday. I like to spend time on my computer or listening to music, so at times you will be asked to do some light domestic duties. I am looking for a special person who can not only provide care and support but is also companionable.

I require help with Bi-pap, cough assist and daily physiotherapy.  The role involves giving medication, using a ceiling track hoist and at times operating my electric wheelchair. Full training, from outside providers and in house,  along with shadowing shifts will be given in all these areas. Also some bespoke training modules specific to my condition and care needs.

Does the job role include personal care?: Yes
