Nail Practitioner

You will be fully trained to provide a nail trimming service to older people in their own homes. We do not treat people who are diabetic. You may also have the opportunity to work at various care homes/ community venues/ sheltered housing to offer a clinic type service if preferred.
Most people will have their nails trimmed every 6-8 weeks and you will manage your own diary and bookings, with support from the Assist Nail Co-ordinator. All equipment is provided. Nail trimming is classed as personal care.
Travel expenses details:
45p per mile excluding the first 4 miles

Working Patterns:
You will hold your own diary to managed your bookings/route to suit you and the client. You are in control of your hours, choosing to work part or full time. You will gradually build up your round. The work can be flexible around school hours and holidays.
Essential details:
You need to be a car driver and have a good understanding the challenges for older people who may be struggling to cut their own nails. You need good communication skills and be well organised in managing bookings and paperwork.
You are paid per treatment which should take no more than 1/2 hr + travel expenses

You will be visiting clients in their own homes. Areas by agreement.
