Advanced Social Worker – West Devon

What you’ll be doing
 

Based at The Byre, Yealmpton, with hybrid working options (minimum 3 days in-office), you’ll work with individuals aged 17 and above, supporting their journey from transition to older adulthood.

As an Advanced Social Worker, you’ll:

  • Deputise for the Team Manager
  • Chair safeguarding meetings
  • Supervise and mentor colleagues
  • Hold a small but complex caseload
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to the team, demonstrating strong legal literacy and a thorough understanding of statutory duties and social work legislation.

What we’re looking for
 

  • A qualified and registered Social Worker with experience in adult social care
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Confidence in managing complex cases and safeguarding processes
  • A commitment to upholding our organisation’s values and behaviours
