Exeter - Hybrid
The Devon Safeguarding Adults Service is a countywide service that receives and responds to safeguarding adult contacts and referrals raised with Devon County Council.
The team comprises of Social Care Assessors, Social Workers, Experienced Social Workers, Team Managers and Advanced Practitioner and the service is led by the Service Manager.
You will need to have experience of managing people and teams in addition to excellent working knowledge of safeguarding adults responsibilities and duties under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014.
The nature of the role will require you to be highly organised and able to manage your workload at pace. You will be responsible for line managing a cohort of Experienced Social Workers, Social Workers and Social Care Assessors.
Working Location: Flexible depending on location as office base can be in Exeter, South Devon or North Devon.
