To work as part of a team providing high-quality care and support to service users residing at The Old Rectory. The role involves promoting independence, dignity, and respect while supporting individuals in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively as part of a care team to deliver person-centred support.
Provide and maintain high-quality, supportive relationships with service users.
Acknowledge and promote the individual rights, choices, privacy, and dignity of each service user.
Support service users with daily living activities in accordance with their care plans.
Work independently with service users when required.
Participate in a flexible shift system, including day shifts, evening shifts, and sleep-in duties.
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff.
Follow all health and safety, safeguarding, and organisational policies and procedures.
Training and Development
A comprehensive training programme will be provided.
Employees are encouraged to work towards a Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social Care (previously NVQ).
