Cook/Chef – Full time and Part time hours available, to include alternate weekends, based at Coppelia House, Moretonhampstead.
Full time – 40 hours per week
Part time – 16 hours per week

Yes, it’s a busy kitchen; Yes, you’ll be working to dietary needs, preferences, and routines. But what you’re really doing? You’re making someone feel seen, safe, and satisfied.
A bit about the role:
- Plan and prepare and cook balanced, home-cooked meals tailored to resident’s dietary needs
- Ensure meals are presented well and served on time
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and nutritional guidelines
- Maintain a clean and well-organised kitchen
- Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure resident’s needs are met
- Bringing warmth, pride, and maybe even a few laughs into the heart of the home.
What we’re looking for:
- An experience passionate Cook
- Knowledge of food safety, allergies, and dietary requirements (e.g., soft diets, diabetic-friendly meals) – or a willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently, independently and keeping calm under pressure
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A warm, friendly personality and a good sense of humour – it helps in a busy kitchen!
