This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join a specialist Charity in a crucial Management role.
A small residential service with big ideas needs a new team leader to support the CQC registered manager turn our ‘Good’ CQC rating into OUTSTANDING.

You will understand the importance of working co-productively with the people being supported, their families and advocates, and a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across health and adult social care to ensure people receive the outstanding care to which they are entitled.
You will support the CQC Registered Manager, with compliance and demonstrating outstanding practice across all Key Lines of Enquiry. You will have opportunities to feed into the Charity’s organisational practice, sharing your big ideas that could benefit all people we support and all people with learning disabilities and autism.

As team leader you will support the Registered Manager to role-model outstanding support, whilst also supporting with management duties such as: rota planning, appraisals & supervisions, risk assessments, support planning and co-ordinating the regular training of your team. You will be able to use your IT skills to effectively use basic systems designed for crucial reporting. You will demonstrate your ability to plan, do, and review support on an outcomes focused pathway.
You will be experienced in providing services for people with learning disabilities and autism, it would be beneficial to hold current working knowledge of CQC regulations.
This is a 24 hour, 365 days per year service and you will need to be flexible to work as the service requires.
Essential for the role:
• experience of working in services with adults with learning disabilities.
• Full UK driver’s licence and have use of a car.

Hours: Full time and part time opportunities available.
A variety of shift patterns are available Monday-Sunday between the hours of 7.00am and 9.00pm subject to the needs of the individuals we support. Occasional waking night cover needed in the event of staff holidays.
Location: The Firs Residential Service, Paignton
Hourly Rate: £8.31 – £8.51 per hour.
