No Ordinary Support Worker Role

Location:  Multiple locations across our Plymouth Services

Salary:  £8.31-£8.51

Hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week

Havencare is a registered charity whose main objective is just that! Working to support individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Autism and Complex needs.

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to work alongside our existing teams – if you would like to join us in this rewarding role you will need to be able to:

Ø  Work with Support Plans that are tailored to the individual’s likes and dislikes.

Ø  Support people to engage in meaningful activities in everyday life and access the community.

Ø  Promote independence and maintaining life skills.

Ø  Motivate individuals to achieve their goals.

Ø  Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills and shared interests, whilst maintaining solid family connections.

Ø  Play a key part in delivering outcome focused support plans.

In return, we will:

Ø  Train you to ensure you have the skills required to succeed and provide ongoing development opportunities.

Ø  Offer contracted hours to suit both the people we support and your circumstances.

Ø  Pay salaries from £8.31-£8.51 per hour.

Ø  Offer holiday accrued for hours worked (28 days pro rata equivalent)

Ø  Provide Career Development opportunities
