Support Worker (Maternity Cover)

Active Assistance are currently looking for a Support Worker for a client living independently at home with an Acquired Brain Injury. Our Client is fully mobile but requires some assistance with daily tasks. This includes cooking, cleaning and being socially active in his local community. The role will suit someone who has previous experience in a supportive role and specifically with ABI clients. Full training is provided and our managers will ensure you feel competent in your role.

Salary, Shift Times and Benefits

£8.50 per hour for day shifts. Salary is calculated as an hourly rate of pay multiplied by number of hours worked.
£50 sleeping night rate (11pm-7am)
Monday and Tuesday: 10am-8pm
Thursday: 22 hour shift starting at 3pm on Thursday (includes a sleeping night) – 1pm Friday
This role can be worked part time or full time depending on your availability
Accrued holiday pay
This role is classed as temporary as during your time working with Active Assistance there may be opportunities to work with other clients.
You will be employed by Active Assistance on a flexible contract
Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays.
Employees will be auto-enrolled into the NEST Pension Scheme
DBS Certificate (please note that if you leave within your 3-month probation period the cost of this will be deducted from your salary)
