South Devon Support Services Ltd is a well-established and compassionate care provider dedicated to supporting individuals in their own homes. We are seeking an inspirational leader to join our team as a part-time Registered Care Manager, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our service expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and uphold Outstanding care standards.
- Implement robust policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality checks.
- Leadership & Staff Management
- Provide strong leadership to care coordinators, support workers, and office staff.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of staff.
- Client-Centred Care & Business Growth
- Ensure care plans are tailored, person-centred, and regularly reviewed.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
- Drive service expansion while maintaining the highest levels of care.
- Operational & Financial Oversight
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and staff rotas effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and work within budgetary guidelines.
- Lead the business towards sustainable growth and profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Manager Qualification (or willing to complete one)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Strong CQC knowledge & compliance expertise
- Proven management experience in domiciliary care or residential care
- Excellent people management & leadership skills
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care
- Driving license & access to own vehicle (preferred)
