Supporting individuals with a learning disability with activities of daily living personal care and social activities.

To ensure that those services directly provided:

*Promote individual’s quality of life and their rights as adults

*Enable individuals to take risks whilst understanding the consequences through informed decision making

*Provide prompts to the individual in maintaining and improving social and living skills

*Provide prompts to the individual in maintaining and improving personal care and hygiene skills

*Encourage healthy lifestyle choices

*Strive to work towards meeting goals/objectives as agreed between individual, care manager, and support team

*Achieve a service provision which meets Health & Safety requirements

*To identify and respond to the changing needs of the people who use the service

Does the job role include personal care?: Yes

Working Patterns:

Shifts are allocated on a rota basis, typically 8.5hrs (8:00am- 4:30pm/ 9:30am - 6:00pm OR 10:30am - 7:00pm) although there can be some flexibility in length of shift according to individual circumstances.

Everyone is required to work some weekends and bank holidays.

Rota's are published 2 months in advance.
