Audiologist 1.0 WTE Permanent
Derriford Hospital, Plymouth
Ready for a fresh start? Want more from your first job than just AQP? Our department is expanding, and we have a permanent post available for the right person. You will have the opportunity to embed or extend your skills in adult rehabilitation and diagnostics, and to develop your skills in one of the specialist areas of audiology.
We are particularly looking for someone with an interest in paediatrics. We have a number of band 5s who have moved to this beautiful part of the country and support each other in their development and socially. They are able to extend their roles into a range of aspects from training students to working with adults with learning difficulties.
We are a centre for the higher training scheme and one of our existing staff has just completed the STP programme. We also support newly qualified staff during their consolidation period. We work across a large urban and rural community, and provide services across a range of sites. Plymouth is a vibrant city, and there are excellent health and leisure services at our main site.
You will be expected to have a BSc in Audiology, BAA Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent.
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Adam Beckman, Head of Audiology Services on 01752 763176
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and ‘At Risk’ status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
