Uplift in salary at weekends of 10%, hourly rate £22 per hour during the week. Salary is negotiable.
This is a great chance to work in a small, private nursing home, providing care for a range of needs. We are well known for our excellent palliative care and also have many long standing residents who have been with us for many years.
We are also moving to using digital care plans and a digital care administration package, meaning that full training is provided on all aspects. A full induction would be provided.
You will help control the issue of drugs for which the home has taken responsibility and maintain accurate and appropriate records relevant to the efficient running of the home. We welcome a wide range of experiences, with skills in venepuncture welcomed. Whilst in charge of your shift, you will ensure that admissions are appropriate and welcomed into the home, take the lead for quality and improvement in care delivered, identify and address the clinical, health and social care needs of residents, ensuring independence and choice.
Some experience in being an assessor or supervisor for nursing placements would be beneficial but not essential.
This can be a full or part time role.
