Care Assistant (Nights)

Regents Park Ltd is a longstanding family run company that provides the highest standard of residential care for adults with severe learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge and complex needs.

Night Care Assistants Wanted – : Full Time (36 hours) or Part Time (12 hours upwards) positions available.

·         Shifts are a 9:00pm – 9:00am.

·         Shifts include working alternate weekends

·         We also have Bank (Casual Work) positions available

·         Must live in easy commutable distance from Exeter

·         Candidates should ideally have at least one years’ experience of working within the care sector, preferably as a Care Assistant.

Desirable:

·         Driving Licence Preferred. The role could involve driving for the Service Users.

·         Experience of working with people with Autism

·         QCF Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or studying towards. However full training will be given, as required, including the opportunity to study for a level 2 or 3 Diploma.

·         Experience of working with people with severe learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge and complex needs.

Pay:

·         £10.00 per hour, upon the successful completion of a six month probation period.

·         There is an enhancement of £1.00 per hour extra for staff when they work beyond their contracted hours.

·         All staff will receive a quarterly bonus of £100, on condition of the following:

• • That they have full attendance of their contracted hours which includes all scheduled training.
  • Staff fully comply with the Policies and Procedures at all times
  • Have no performance concerns
  • Must complete all extra shifts that they have agreed to cover

Recommend a Friend scheme:

·         If the friend is employed and successfully passes their probation period then the staff member who made the recommendation will receive £50.00.
