We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker who will be part of the support team based at the Plymouth’s Parents Accommodation and Support Service, working on a 4 week rota basis to include weekends and late shifts, reporting to the Team Leader and Services Manager.
Plymouth’s Parents Accommodation and Support Service is supported accommodation for vulnerable young parents, aged 16yrs – 24yrs who are pregnant, or have a child under the age of 3. The Parents are either at risk of homelessness or have become homeless and need support to develop independent living skills. They will have been referred to our service by another agency – such as Plymouth Housing Options Service, Early help team, Children’s social services, Youth Prevention and mediation service, Health services, IFSS. We have a total of 7 rooms, 8 self-contained flats and one assessment flat.
By providing quality one to one support you will work with the most vulnerable parents and their children in Plymouth to attain a better life for themselves and their children by enabling and supporting them:-

- become sustainably housed
- become positive parents
- empowering them to gain the life skills they need to achieve and maintain independent living
