We have an exciting opportunity at North Devon District Hospital to recruit a Band 2 Medical Laboratory Assistant in the Histopathology Department.
To work as part of a team under the direction of Senior Biomedical Scientists, Biomedical Scientists, Biomedical Support Workers and Histopathologists.
Liaises frequently with the Histopathology Secretary, Administrative Assistants and the Specimen Reception Team.
The Histopathology service processes 11 000 Histology and 1200 non-gynae Cytology specimens per annum.
