Community Staff Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to join our Community Nursing Team in Barnstaple.
We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic and proactive team. Applicants will require good assessment, clinical and communication skills in order to deliver evidence based nursing care to patients within their home environment, recognise when a patient is deteriorating and intervene and escalate concerns appropriately to optimise quality of life and reduce the risk of unnecessary hospital attendance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a high standard of care and have good communication skills. Applicants must be well organised with a professional and approachable manner. They must be prepared to work as part of a team and autonomously..
The post is 37.5 hours per week, but we would be happy to negotiate with the right candidate.
General working pattern would be Monday-Friday 8am-4pm with approximately 1 weekend on in 4.
