Estates Building Craftsperson

The Estates Department is looking for an experienced Building Maintenance Craftsperson to join their team in the day to day maintenance of the Hospital.
The successful applicant will be mainly involved in carrying out routine fault finding, testing, manufacturing, replacing, modifying, inspecting, improving, installing, maintaining and repairing of all building related services in compliance with all good practice guides, operational maintenance manuals and statutory requirements. Be proactive with regard to all forms of maintenance, good site husbandry and security. Working to specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion and minimising waste within set dates and times as directed by the Building Team Leader.
Participation in an out of hours on-call system is required and a willingness to work flexible hours would be expected.
Previous experience in a similar environment would be desirable.
Salary: Band 3 (£20,330 – £21,777) plus £750 RRP and on-call allowances.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
