We are looking for a committed and skilled Deputy Manager to join our specialist service which is set in a beautiful rural location near South Molton, North Devon.
Salary £26,000-£28,000 per annum – Depending on experience
We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so flexibility is required
QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care – or willingness/ ability to work towards this
Previous line management experience required

You will be managing a team of Support Workers, carrying out supervisions, appraisals, team meetings and ensuring that training needs are identified and maintained, alongside practice observations and competency assessments and personal/ professional development of our staff. You will be working alongside the Registered Manager in providing strategic direction for the service and embedding the delivery of positive and active support strategies with our team – to create daily opportunities to thrive for the people we support.
We are a CQC registered residential home for 8 younger adults with a Learning Disability, Autism and some may have behaviours that can challenge.
We are looking for someone with a sense of commitment and a ‘Can Do’ attitude who has a solid understanding and the ability to develop our practice in supporting people with complex needs.
