Senior support worker
We are currently looking for a senior staff member who can rise to a challenge, be positive and committed to improving the service. We promote and encourage a can-do attitude and we always strive to work our magic with the people we are privileged to support. This requires staff to be committed, consistent, and supportive and be part of a team. We are often asked by professionals about our supported living due to the progression we have achieved.
We promote independence life skills for all our service users no matter what level of ability they have, we celebrate all.
Shift pattern if available: shifts can be between 08.00am-22.00pm
We support with: personal care, daily living skills, 1-1 support in the community and group activities/ outings, cooking skills, budgeting/ money management
Based within a service.
Training and progression
We are a company and service that will support you to progress and develop within your role, through your, induction, personal development plan and training. The training the company provides as one staff member said “is outstanding and has helped me to succeed in my job role”.
Within the Paignton supported living house, we provide is to support a maximum of 5 adults between the ages of 18-65 with learning difficulties, behaviour that challenges and or mental health to achieve independence, provide personalised care, promote empowerment and inclusion, transition individuals with achieving their individualized goals, outcomes, achievements or choices, achieving capacity and lifting restrictions.
The service is within walking distance of Paignton town centre and has great transport links locally. The house is a large and spacious, that is in a convenient location for all amenities, and is located next to a local mini mart.

Due to the nature of our company all staff will be required to undertake a DBS check and referencing, The DBS will be either 1) Standard 2) Enhanced 3) Enhanced with Barred List Check, this will be service and role specific and can be discussed pre application if required
