Health Care Assistant (Evening and Weekends)

Horizon Care Southwest Ltd is a family business who have been established for nearly 15 years. We are a Home Care provider delivering a service commissioned by Devon County Council and NHS Devon CCG.
Help us look after Exeter’s most vulnerable clients and protect the NHS and Save Lives. We have space for our future Horizon Hero’s, to join our Care family with a starting date 4th April 2022.
If you are looking to change things up and want to work in a truly meaningful work environment, then consider joining our Care family as a Care Assistant (working around school hours). No two days are ever the same, but we will be able to provide you with regular and permanent client calls on the days you want to work
Hours: 4pm -10pm. The Rota is managed Monday to Sunday, weekend work is required (but not every weekend, you can work a set day or alternative weekends). Permanent Contract Min 20 hours per week.

Health Care Assistant Skills, experience, and qualities required:
•Enjoy the company of Older Adults and the Elderly
•Driving license and access to reliable transport is required
•Passionate about making a difference to people’s lives
•Honest and reliable
•Resilient and compassionate with challenging behaviour
•Positive attitude and can- do approach to all tasks required
•Good communication skills
•Enthusiastic and motivated
Health Care Assistants Daily duties and responsibilities:
•Providing high quality care services to our client
•Preparing hot and cold meals
•Personal care and some domestic duties
HORIZON CARE is highly dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable people. Because of the nature of this job applicants with suitable references and DBS checks will be considered for this role.
Expected start dates: 25/07/22 & 15/08/22
20-40 hours per week
Travel expenses details:
Extra pay awarded to drivers for using their own cars. Subsidised travel awarded to our non drivers
