Care Assistants (Nights) – Parkland House Exeter
As a care assistant, you will be passionate about working with our Elderly Residents to help them live their lives to the full. It is the ultimate ‘people job’ – you will build solid relationships and trust with the Residents, sometimes in challenging situations.
Your daily routine will be varied. You will support the residents to wash, dress, undress, and help them with continence care, mealtime assistance, hydration, oral care, hair care, nail care and emotional support and stimulation. Encourage them to participate in activities.
A care assistant plays a major role in creating a happy and caring environment adopting a totally flexible approach and attitude in all aspects of the post. We ensure dignity and respect whilst promoting independence, inclusion and stimulation.
We provide online training in all aspects of the care environment, along with face to face support and supervision. There are opportunities to progress within the Company e.g. to a Senior Care Assistant, Activity Co-ordinator and team leader to name a few.
Experience & Qualifications:

· Willing to participate in our online training, for all aspects of the care environment.
